Prologue
The taste of warm smog is on your tongue, and all the sights, sounds, and smells of a bustling, unknown city overwhelm your senses. That voice from your dreams lingers in your ears, and your body quakes as a terrible and all-consuming dread chills your very bones.
Something isn't right.
Something dangerous lingers here, and it's eyes are on you.
Objective: Survive
Welcome to The Paradise Effect's very first part to its multi-chapter story! You'll find the rules, the objective, and all teams and their members listed below. Additionally, let me break down what you need to know just one more time in case anyone missed the announcements.

There is no posting requirement for the Prologue! This is the only freebie you'll get, so use it wisely! Additional Chapters after the Prologue will have a 5 post minimum, and if you don't meet it, you and your character will be eliminated from the campaign.02
We will be using Google Docs for roleplaying during the Prologue. Where we end up afterwards will depend on TPE's members and Staff.03
Every Team will have two Channels to themselves in the main server. There will be an OOC Channel for casual conversation and planning, and a Pings Channel for pinned Google Doc links and for Players to ping their team when they've posted (which may or may not include a post summary, it's completely up to you!). The only people with access to these Channels will be the team themselves, as well as the GM (Fox) and the Admins (Okibi & Narl). Make sure to heed the rules pinned in the OOC Channel!04
Updates will come in the form of Checkpoints on each team's individual doc! If you make an action, wait until a Checkpoint has been given before posting again. Examples of actions are in the Prologue Announcement in the server. If you don't take an action, feel free to post as much as you want in between Checkpoints.05
Do NOT share active Google Doc links with anyone other than your team. Inactive Google Doc links will be shared by the GM or an Admin in the appropriate Channel.06
If your Google Doc is getting laggy after a lot of posts have been made, you can ping Fox in your team's OOC Channel to get you a new one. A new Google Doc will automatically be given for any Google Doc exceeding 50 pages.07
